Pilatus Aircraft Ltd

Founded in 1939, Pilatus Aircraft Ltd is the only Swiss company to develop, produce and sell aircraft to customers around the world: from the best-selling single-engine turboprop in its class, the PC-12, and the PC-21, the training system of the future. The latest aircraft is the PC-24 - the world’s first ever business jet for use on short unprepared runways. Domiciled in Stans, the company is certified to ISO 14001 in recognition of its efforts for the environment. The Pilatus Group includes two independent subsidiaries in Broomfield (Colorado, USA) and Adelaide (Australia). With over 2,600 employees at its headquarters, Pilatus is one of the largest employers in Central Switzerland. Pilatus provides training for about 140 apprentices in 13 different professions - job training for young people has always been a very high priority at Pilatus.

The Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) in Australia has 3 of these PC24s in their fleet of 80 plus aircraft. They use these on remote paved, grass or dirt strips, roads etc. They are custom designed to RFDS standards and fitted out with all the life saving equipment found in a hospital. Accommodation for doctor and nurse/s and up to 3 patients. This is a free service to patients. All funded by government and donations. A wonderful organisation helping all Australians.
I think there should be a small lav in the fwd for crew and one in the aft for passengers
Wish it had thrust reversers. Make a landing on an icy runway when your regular brakes are unable to stop you and you'll wish you had them too.

I am a fan of Pilatus aircraft. My perception is that Pilatus makes aircraft that are not just economical, but best-in-class. Terrific value.

As a pilot, I can say I really appreciate the lav in the forward compartment.
how often do u use it?
@@KuostA …it depends on how long the flight is but usually once every 3 hours. The reason I prefer the lav in the forward section is so I don’t have to walk back past all the passengers every time I need to go to the bathroom. We used to call that the walk of shame!

Toured the Denali at Oshkosh and they said most people like the lav in the back. I disagree thats my favorite thing about Pilatus you can throw what ever you want pretty much in the cargo area.

This just flew over me in Essendon Victoria?
I don't get the lavatory, it's right next to the galley?
Even worse, it is IN the galley, under the cups and glasses and beside the coffee maker….. Obviously much discussed. It would be for me a no go, BUT the fact is, Pilatus prioritizes cargo capabilities above everything else, so lav up front for a huge cargo space. For some clients that is best option. If I were able to afford this jet, I would prefer back lav to the cost of cargo, but again, some clients love to be able to carry bikes, motorcycles and stuff.
Why the name!!?? Not the most effective Biblical reference 😅😅
